Our location Just 1.5 miles from Bath city centre in the village of Bathampton, Lindisfarne is ideally situated for those who enjoy visiting a busy and historic city, but also appreciate a semi-rural location. There are good eating places within walking distance. We have private parking on site so you can be free to relax and take the bus into town from the nearby bus stop, or stroll in along the Kennet and Avon canal. You can even get there by boat on the Pulteney Princess.

Lindisfarne is situated in Bathampton on the A36 one and a half miles from the city centre.

From Bath:

Follow the signs for Warminster (A36). After passing Down Lane on your left our sign should be visible on the right. (Approx 50 metres.)

Travelling into Bath on the A36 we are on the left approx 150 metres past the 30mph sign.

From M4 Eastbound:

• Leave M4 at Junction 18 Head south on A46
• Go through first roundabout
• Follow signs for Bath. Take ramp exit off dual carriage way. Stay in left lane.
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto London Road West (Ignore the fact that Bath is signposted right)
• Just past The Wagon and Horses Fork right at Toll Bridge Road
• Cross the toll bridge (60p charge)
• Continue on Mill Lane
• Cross the canal
• Continue on High Street
• Turn left at Down Lane (signposted Warminster)
• At the top of Down Lane Turn left and we are then 50 yards on the right

From M4 Westbound:

• At junction 17, take the A350 exit to A429/Cirencester/Chippenham
• At Stanton Saint Quinton Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A350 heading to Chippenham
• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A350/W Cepen Way
• Go through 4 roundabouts
• At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto A4/Bath Road
• Continue to follow A4 and go through 1 roundabout
• At Bathford Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto London Road East (Signposted Bath Easton)
• Continue on High Street
• Continue on London Road West - watch the speed bumps!
• Take a sharp left at Toll Bridge Road (This is very easy to miss)
• Cross the toll bridge (60p charge)
• Continue on Mill Lane
• Cross the canal
• Continue on High Street
• Turn left at Down Lane (signposted Warminster)
• At the top of Down Lane Turn left and we are then 50 yards on the right
