The Old Crown at Kelston
Kelston |
£55 per room per night |
The Old Crown is one of the most remarkable and lovely in the country. It is so old that no-one knows when it was built. It has three old bars each with fascinating polished flagstones. One is called the mortuary as coffins used to be kept there awaiting burial. The atmosphere of the pub has to be experienced to be believed.
There are 5 real ales including the local Butcombe Bitter and an excellent range of pub food. There
is an extensive and attractive garden and an adjacent barn has been converted into 4 en-suite bedrooms. The rooms are
centrally heated with tea/coffee making facilities and TV.
Lunch, Dinner and an extensive range of bar snacks are available.
Tariff | £55 per room per night |
